Meet Dr. Neupert

Doctor Neupert was born and grew up in the Greater New Orleans area.He graduated from LSU School of Dentistry in 1980 and entered the United States Navy. While serving in the Navy for 12 years, he completed his oral surgery training at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. He has published numerous articles about oral surgery and has presented research topics at national oral surgery meetings. Before coming to Lafayette in 1992 to join Dr. Dupree, he instructed oral surgery residents at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Virginia.

Dr. Neupert was selected by 232 Help (a local non-profit organization) as the first recipient of Dentist of the Year award 2013. Dr. Neupert was honored for 14 years of Compassion and Humanitarian Service to our Communities’ Most Vulnerable.

Dr. Neupert enjoys jogging, horseback riding, fishing and bird hunting in his spare time. He has a farm in Sunset where he spends most of his free time. In December 2015 Dr. Neupert decided to retire from the practice.
